Portland, TN (October 25, 2021, approximately 9:00pm) The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the stabbing of a 52-year-old female, a 23-year-old pregnant female, and a 53-year-old male at a residence on Brewer Rd. in Portland, TN. All 3 victims were taken to nearby hospitals, with the 2 females in stable condition and the male in critical but stable condition.
Robertson County Deputies responded to a stabbing and home invasion incident at a residence on Brewer Rd. Upon arrival, the suspect, Austin Craig Swanson (DOB 4/27/1998) was still in the residence and taken into custody. Deputies immediately performed life-saving first-aid on the victims until medical personnel arrived. It has been determined the suspect is the victim’s neighbor; however, this is still a preliminary investigation, and a motive has not been determined at this time.
