Two Arrested For Multiple Thefts and Burglaries

Robertson County, TN (February 22nd, 2021) – A tip from the community has led to the arrest of Cody Wayne Jacobs (DOB 2/20/1996) and Dana Renea Ramsey (DOB 7/24/1998) in relation to several thefts and burglaries in Robertson County, TN.

On 2/6/2021, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and Portland Police Department responded to a tip regarding possible stolen motorcycles at a residence in Cross Plains, TN. Upon arrival, deputies identified a large amount of suspected stolen property at the residence. A search warrant was obtained and executed to seize the stolen property that was linked to numerous thefts in Robertson County, and other surrounding counties. Warrants were issued for Cody Jacobs and Dana Ramsey. They were then arrested and booked into the Robertson County Detention Facility. The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has been working diligently to reunite the stolen property with the victims of these thefts and burglaries. To date, the Sheriff’s Office has been able to close nine (9) theft and burglary cases. Sheriff’s Office charges and bonds for Cody Jacobs and Dana Ramsey are listed below.

Cody Wayne Jacobs, Cross Plains, TN – Bond is $38,500

  • 1 count of theft under $500
  • 2 counts of burglary
  • 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • 1 count of Simple Possession
  • Bond Surrender

Dana Renea Ramsey, Cross Plains, TN – Bond is $17,500 (Released on Bond)

  • 1 count of Theft over $1000.00
  • 3 counts of Theft under $1000.00
  • 1 count of Burglary
