Suspect Arrested in Recent Robberies

Springfield, TN (January 21, 2020, approximately 5:20pm) – A search warrant conducted by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and Springfield Police Department has led to the arrest of John Kyler Ray Osborne (DOB 10/23/1996) for the robberies of Advanced Auto Parts and a Dollar General Store in Springfield, TN.

The arrest stems from an initiated search warrant on January 21st, 2020 at a residence on Mariview Drive in Springfield, TN. During the course of the search, the vehicle that was used in the Advanced Auto Parts Robbery on Memorial Blvd in Springfield on January 16th, 2020 was found, along with other evidence at the scene from a robbery at a Dollar General Store on Tom Austin Highway in Springfield on January 20th, 2020. John Osborne of Springfield, TN has been charged with Aggravated Robbery, and Aggravated Assault x2 by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for the robbery at the Dollar General Store. He has also been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault by the Springfield Police Department for the robbery at Advanced Auto Parts.
