Arrests Made after Drug Investigations

 

Springfield, TN, June 15, 2018–Deputies and the Narcotics Unit from the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office have had a busy week. Several drug arrests have been made stemming from two separate investigations in the Flewellyn Road community.

Today, Deputies with assistance from the Narcotics Unit of the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office were following up on a narcotics investigation.  During the investigation, Deputies found a sizeable amount of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia including hypodermic needles. Those arrested and their charges in the first investigation are as follows:

Tonya Haggard – arrested on outstanding warrants for Fraud and Forgery.

James “Jamie” Dean – Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule VI Drug.  Mr. Dean was also arrested on outstanding warrants out of Robertson County for Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of Schedule II Drug (Cocaine) for Resale and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Emily Prisock – Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The second investigation occurred yesterday on June 14th, 2018.  The Narcotics Unit from the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals following an investigation also in the Flewellyn Road community.  The Narcotics Officers seized crystal methamphetamine, black tar heroin, and illegal prescription medications.  In addition to the drugs, Narcotics Officers also seized a firearm, vehicle, and drug paraphernalia. Those arrested and their charges in this investigation are as follows:

 

Janie Covington – Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Corinne Bell – Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All drugs will be sent to the crime lab at TBI for testing.  Additional charges are pending.
