Springfield, TN, May 7, 2018– On Sunday, May 6th, 2018, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home on Logan Rd. in Greenbrier, TN for a stabbing call. Once on scene, it was learned that the victim sustained serious bodily injury during the attack and was stabbed in the neck. The victim was transported to a Nashville hospital and is currently listed in stable condition after having emergency surgery.
The suspect in the case is Jeffery Daniel Stewart of Nashville, TN. Jeffery is a white male, 39 years old, and is wanted on multiple charges, including Attempted First Degree murder, Especially Aggravated Burglary, and Aggravated Assault. Jeffery was last seen driving a 2005 Ford Focus station wagon, pale green in color similar to the one pictured below (TN Tag- V52-67L). He is to be considered extremely dangerous and we advise you not to approach him.
