SHERIFF’S OFFICE HOLDS ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY

Springfield, TN, December 16, 2016– On Thursday night, December 15, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office held its Annual Awards and Promotion Ceremony. The ceremony allows employees and their families to come together for a night of recognition of the year’s achievements. Among the awards handed out are the year’s promotions, commendations for employees’ actions that go above and beyond the call of duty, and years of service milestones.

This year, a new award was added: The Health and Wellness Inspiration Award. This award recognizes those that have made a commitment to a healthier lifestyle and have inspired others through their achievements.

“Sheriff Holt and I believe that our employees are the most valuable asset we have,” said Chief Deputy Michael Van Dyke. “It is important to recognize their achievements as well as their loyalty and dedication to serving the citizens of Robertson County.”

One of the highlights of the ceremony was Deputy James Miller’s recognition for over 35 years of service. A total of 55 employee awards were recognized at the ceremony.
