The Robertson County School Board voted Monday night to immediately add funding for deputies and certified police officers to all county schools. The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and all chiefs of police throughout the county have been diligently working to arrange the scheduling and logistics of this cooperative effort to provide safety for our schools.
The effective date for adding officers to the remaining schools will be announced in the near future. The staffing will consist of current deputies from the sheriff’s office and police officers from the cities with schools located in their jurisdictions.
