On October 20, 2012, Timothy Tidwell and Jeffery Pope were arrested for a series of burglaries and thefts that occurred in the Cross Plains area The incidents took place during the months of September and October. The subjects would gain access to outbuildings or garages for the purpose of taking power tools and other equipment. There are also charges pending on these individuals for other burglaries and thefts.
There are two other persons of interest in this case; and, charges are pending on those individuals also. At this time, their names are not being released due to the ongoing investigation.
