Captain P.R. West, Administrative Division Commander

Captain West has over 30 years of Law Enforcement experience. He has received special training in Vice Operations, Domestic Violence, Command Decisions, S.W.A.T., Advanced Crime Investigation, Drug Interdiction, Instructor Development.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lieutenant Brad Edwards

Lieutenant Brad Edwards has served with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for over eleven years.  Lt. Edwards started his career as a Corrections Officer before attending the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy and becoming a Certified Police Officer.  Lt. Edwards served as a Patrol Deputy and Patrol Corporal while in the Patrol Division.  Lt. Edwards was selected to become a Training Officer and was later appointed as the General Department Instructor (G.D.I.) for the agency which he still serves and conducts hundreds of training hours for the department each year.

Lieutenant Edwards currently serves as the Administrative Lieutenant which has several functions within the Sheriff’s Office to include managing the Sheriff’s Office line item budget, fleet proposals, training coordinator, evidence and supply custodian, and compliance officer.  Lt. Edwards is also the supervisor and manager of the following separate divisions; Training Division, N.C.I.C. and Warrant’s Division, I.T. Division, and the Records/Front Office Personnel.

Brad holds numerous instructor certifications to include: Firearms, Taser, Defensive Tactics, Active Shooter, Leadership, and many others.  Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.).  Brad is also a member of Grace Baptist Church where he, his wife Jill, daughter Kayla, and son Ashton attend.
