Kenneth Scott Elmore
On Thursday, December 9th, 2004, Kenneth Scott Elmore, 38, of Cedar Hill Tennessee was arrested as a result of an on-going investigation into his former employment with the Robertson County Bus Garage. This investigation uncovered alleged "kickbacks" to a vendor, McClain's Body Shop, and defendant Kenneth Scott Elmore. Elmore was indicted by the Robertson County Grand Jury for 51 counts of Theft of Property, 50 counts of Destruction and Tampering with Government Records, 50 counts of Official Misconduct, 1 count of Criminal Conspiracy, and 1 count of Coercion of a Witness. Elmore's bond was set at $25,000 and an arraignment date was set for January 7th, 2005.
Elvin McClain
Also arrested in connection with this case was Elvin McClain, 34, of Orlinda Tennessee. McClain is the owner and manager of McLain's Body Shop located on Hwy 49 East in Orlinda, TN. McClain was charged with Criminal Conspiracy and Theft of Property, with a bond set at $5,000. His arraignment date is also set for January 7th.
