The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office offers women in our community Basic Self Defense courses taught by our in-house, certified R.A.D. Instructors free of charge.  The R.A.D. System of self-defense empowers women by providing education and awareness.  The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.   The goal of the R.A.D. program is to ensure that women have viable options of defense should they be attacked.
