Sgt. Randy Henderson Team Commander has over 9 years of Law Enforcement and 4 Years of SWAT Experience.
As team commander I am responsible for training and SWAT Team operations. I also serve as an active member of the team. The duties of the team are to respond to situations that require special training that all of our team members have been certified in and train for on a regular basis. All our members are full time officers and have regular work duties other than the SWAT team. They are all volunteers and are required to be above average in their skills required of a police officer, and also must remain physically fit. We also have a certified paramedic on the team in case any medical emergencies that may arise. By the use of grant money and region 7 of Homeland Security, the Robertson County SWAT Team has obtained some of the most up to date equipment and training available. We have a very competent team that I have enormous confidence in, and I am very proud to be a part of this team.
