 Deputy Reserve Unit



The Robertson County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit is an intrical part of the Patrol Division and serves all divisions of the Sheriff's Office including Patrol, Central Dispatch, Corrections, and Administrative. All Reserve Deputies are bound by the rules, regulations and policies of the Sheriff's Office.

Under Tennessee state law there is a mandatory 40 hour training in order to be certified as a Reserve Deputy, and the Sheriff's Office requires each Reserve Deputy to work in one of the department divisions at least eight hours each month.

Anyone interested in becoming a Reserve Deputy in Robertson County can pick up an application in person at the Sheriff's Office, or call Chief Holt at (615) 384-7971 for more information. Applicants must pass a background check, criminal history check, psychological examination, physical examination, written/oral interviews and firearms qualifying.
