DARE Officer
Sgt. Paul McKissack has been with the Sheriff's Office since 1974. He has worked in many different areas of the department, and in 1990 he started working in youth related programs. In 1999, he was promoted to full-time DARE instructor for the county. Since being the DARE instructor, he has graduated over 1200 students from the program, and another 800 students will complete the program by the end of this school year. The DARE program serves 8 schools in Robertson County. In addition to being a fully certified police officer, Deputy McKissack received additional training at the DARE Officer Training Academy in Hickory, North Carolina.
